Here are the Iowa State Fair photos (some of them) that I promised! The Fair is known for weird food items on a stick! So, I documented all of them. I have included a few. Troy & I have invented a new one; we think we'll try it out next year! :) It is a secret, we can't tell!!

This Past weekend:

Friday night: I enjoyed a laid back movie night with Teri. We pretty much stayed in & had lots of conversations about lots of areas of life & watched the movie '27 Dresses.' It was nice to just have some girl time.

Saturday: Teri & I ran some errands in the morning. When I got home I decided to go do some photography around town. I ended up downtown at the Capitol & the Botanical Center taking some shots!! I love going around doing photography, even alone, it's a calming thing for me to do. Last night Adam was in town on his way to Chicago. He entered the seminary there today! Adam, Emily, Chris, Charlie & I went to Rob's house & enjoyed a going away party for Adam! It was a blast. Charlie took me for a RIDE in the mustang he has fixed up. Yes, he managed not to kill us, amazingly! :) It was fun to be able to have some time with Adam and with some old friends again. I forgot how much I missed my social life this past year and a half! Haha! Here are some pictures from last night...

Sunday: Today was a laid back day. Dad & I helped a family friend, Rosey, sort through some stuff she had in the storage unit. She is moving soon & wanted to go through things & have a sale. Then we had Sunday dinner at Tutu's (as usual). Other than that, today has just been a relaxing Sunday, as they should be! :)

I haven't heard from Mayo yet, but I do know that the physician I have been referred to has received my medical records & is waiting to hear back from the appointment office. It cannot come too soon now! :) I'm ready to go up there & see what they have to say. I cannot wait for the day until I can scarf down some green pepper & onion pizza! YUUUUMMMMM!!!
