This past week has been a good week. We had close family friends in from Texas and Oklahoma and we spent a few days at a cabin in Southeastern Iowa. It was a time of relaxation and enjoying the company of one another. We did some shopping, played lots of games, and most of all had lot of laughs. Where we were staying was in Amish country---the Amish are so friendly and such WONDERFUL cooks. We were able to have some of their delicious homemade breads and it was heavenly. Yesterday they all left to go back home, so it was sort of a sad day---once a year we all get together and go somewhere and when they leave to go back home there is such a sense of sadness. But, I am SOOOO grateful to have them in my life---to have this time with them--I treasure it.
A week from today I will move into my new place. I will be moving into a townhouse with Jill & Abby and I am Soooo excited. Okay, there is a little nervousness in there, as I have never lived on my own, at least somewhere that wasn't a dorm! :) I am looking forward to the next year and anxious to see what adventures it brings me and where it leads. These next few days will be filled with packing up to move. I went to spend time with the babies last week too---they are doing wonderfully and are as cute as ever. I even mastered how to feed one while burping then other, while I relieved their parents for a few hours so they could get out of the house. On Wednesday my grandparents and I are going down again for the day to see the lil' ones. Can't wait! ;0)
