Hi Everyone!

I have been awful at blogging in the last week or so, mainly because I have been going full force. Last Saturday was my graduation party and it was wonderful---I had friends from so many walks of my life---it was neat to see so many different parts of my life come together. I even had 3 Sisters from Atchison drive all the way up here for the party---I'm overwhelmingly touched by it all.
I left on Sunday to go to St. Louis for a week to take care of my 2 cousins Kevan (6) and Andrew (3). We had a WONDERFUL week of the zoo, science center, hiking nature trails and LOTS of baseball. They are tiring but they are a joy. I just returned home tonight.

Monday morning my Dad goes in for surgery. If you would all say some prayers we would all appreciate it. Dad has been battling Grave's Disease for about 10 years and it has affected his eyes and caused a great deal of pressure in his head and behind his eyes. Monday morning he will be at the University of Iowa where they will try to release the pressure and fix his eyes. This is the first time he has ever had surgery and we are all very scared (though, not all of us admit it :)) It is times like these that I realize how much I take for granted...my Dad is wonderful...we have our moments of not meeting eye to eye, but he's always been there, and the older I get the more we grow as friends.

So...if you could spare a prayer---PLEASE add one for my dad and the doctors who will be working on him---that everything turns out well. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. I will keep you posted---and soon, be much better at blogging! I cannot wait to have that Mac to post with a FUN blog!!! *Are you proud, Diana?"
