"So powerful is the light of unity that it can illuminate the whole earth."
~Bahá'u'lláh

Today was a great day. Not only was it the last day of classes, but this evening had a lot to be thankful for. Tonight, the Senior Women were invited to attend a formal dinner with the Sisters of Mount Saint Scholastica. It was a wonderful time to unite our class & for many to offer the chance of interacting with our beloved Sisters. It was a wonderful night full of stories, interacting with the Sisters, and lots of laughs--all building Community. The abundance of pictures I took tonight, I shall always treasure. Many of our senior girls were there--a reunion of sorts for our class that has scattered about throughout campus. The Sisters were marvelous as always--helping us learn proper dinner etiquette for the quickly approaching moment when we will enter "the real world." It was wonderful. S. Mary Rae & S. Susan were the Sisters at our table and they were a hoot--we had a fun table--full of laughter and "trying" to be proper but not always being able to! (Smile) After the wonderful dinner and socializing time, a group of us went to Mueller's to celebrate the girls who will be leaving us this weekend--it was a fun as it is always with us girls. Now, we are all home heading to bed and a full day of studying for finals tomorrow on our "Study Day." How bittersweet next Tuesday will be; the stress of finals will be OVER, but it will also mean that I am officially half way done with my senior year and in NO way am I ready for that---but tonight was a great night for memory making & we did! :) (I'm one of those seniors who will & has cried at the last everything--college is perfect; you're an adult, but can still get away with being a kid--who wants to give that up?!?!? NOT I!

The concept of community is HUGE for me--without community, how could we become what we are to be, what we are capable of being? Community extends from college, to alumni, to the people in your town, to all Christians--we are ALL in community with one another & it should be celebrated, shared, and rejoiced for without it each individual would not be much.

Picture: Our table at dinner tonight: S. Susan, Abby, Me, S. Mary Rae, Christina, Lindsey, Jen, & Jess--we had a pretty fantabulous group!! :) I loved it!

What we are to be we are now becoming. Can't remember who said it but it was my class motto in high school ... hmm they did teach me one thing there!
