The Banana Bread
I went to the cardiologist today. He cleared me to try the medicine. He made a good point 'There is only one way to find out if it'll hurt you, try it.' SO...we will. He will keep close watch on me with frequent appointments for awhile. He is a jolly & delightful guy & I am confident we are doing the best thing right now. I have a good team of docs & I know what to watch for...so here goes nothing. I also love his philosophy, "there is only one way to find out if it'll hurt you." I could use that in LOTS of aspects of life. I think I'll have to keep that in mind. The medicine should arrive from the Canadian pharmacy in about 10 days!
Today was kind of a hodge podge of a day. I worked on applications, made to-do lists, & tried to get a hold of the right people for class information & what not. So help me God, if I hear one more 'press 1 for this, press 2 for that..." really--can I PLEASE just speak with a real-live human being? Tomorrow will bring more 'answer seeking' so that I am sure I have my ducks in a row and am making wise choices. Its going well...as many of you know, applications & decision making for future education is a long & tedious task & I tend to run through severeal ifs, ands, & buts, in my head...which only complicates the process. I am, however, getting to the point of just going with it & seeing what happens. I have learned from the past year, I do not have as much control over life as I had hoped! haha!
I've also been enjoying my walks that the doctors suggested for me. I have my own little route now & I love the path. Today, on my walk, there was a deer in front of me. I didn't have my regular camera, but I had my cell phone camera. It didn't turn out too well, but proof it was there! I didn't get too close because I knew it would run off. I love deer. I think they are so beautiful. Now I carry my camera with me in case I get the chance to see another. I see lots of little bunnies though...they are everywhere.
Not the easiest to see...but the tan figure on the path is the deer! haha.
