This is one of my favorite pictures! While Katie was sleeping Kyle (who is quite my buddy) and I were having so much fun doing self-portraits of ourselves. WE LAUGHED! That child has the most beautiful spirit and soul and a severely contagious laugh that makes my heart giggle.
This time, I actually have some new news. I have officially found another job. I will be working and moving to Des Moines, Iowa. I will be working for a place called "Progress Industries." I will be helping people with disabilities, such as Autism, MR, etc and helping them to learn to live more independently. I will also be working as their case manager as well. Working with their guardians, the courts, etc making sure that all of their needs are met and that the individual is living as well as possible! I am quite excited. The people I will work with seem to be very friendly and care a great deal for the work that they do. I am moving back to Des Moines to help save up money and to figure out the next steps of my life. I'm looking forward to it.
John and Les found another nanny and she seems to be doing well with the kids. I miss those babies terribly and have already visited them twice in the last 3 weeks. So far they seem to remember me and smile when I come in, so that makes me happy.
Tomorrow my Grandpa and I are heading to St. Louis. He will be helping my Uncle Mike do some construction on their house. I will be soaking up every minute I get with my 4 year old Godson/Cousin and celebrating his brother's birthday who will be 7. They are always a joy.
I will keep you posted on the new job and how things are going. It should provide some great blog material. I am looking forward to this next step in my life. It will be nice to be home and around the family---family time is always a plus.
Hope everyone is staying warm and well!
Lots of love,
Jen
