Today was a good day. I went out to my Dad's office a bit this morning & then enjoyed a slow moving day--it was nice. Yesterday, I was on a complete cleaning frenzy. I have NO idea what got into me...but I cleaned, cleaned, cleaned & it felt so nice because the weather was beautiful & I had my windows open & the sun was shining! AWESOME! Saturday night I went with Jeff to his company party at the Jasper Winery. It was my first winery experience--& I have to say I enjoyed it. I also realized that my body has zero alcohol tolerance now--so I only had one glass of wine. Tonight I was able to hang out with 2 of my favorite people, my cousins Cole & Luke. I watched them while their moms went to a meeting. We had a blast @ Aunt Colleen's house. They are in Texas for the Winter--so we had the house to ourselves & they pretty much were allowed to do whatever they wanted. I let them build a fort out of the couch cushions (which would not go well with Auntie Colleen) & we jumped on them & had a blast. I even let Cole make a giant slingshot from the barstool & a giant rubberband--that also kept us occupied for quite some time. As long as my Aunt doesn't find out--I think we're safe.

Tomorrow I go in for another endoscope procedure--they will take a look & see how the surgery is healing, check for more ulcers & blockages, & most likely take some more biopsies! We are hoping this time I do not fun into heart problems--but should the situation arise, the doctors are prepared & the trauma team on standby. Its normally a procedure done in a clinic & for some reason my body does not respond well to it--we've had a few close calls & scary incidents--so now they will do it in an OR at the hospital. I check in at 12 & the procedure is at 1:15. If all goes well, I will be home tomorrow evening. Before the procedure tomorrow, I will go into work for a few hours & try to get my share done before I have to leave early! Poor Dad is so incredibly busy with tax season right now, I don't think he knows if he's coming or going!

Tonight I am going to stay up and write a paper for my Genetics class that is due on Thursday--just in case I don't feel so well after the procedure. That way, I won't have to worry about it, it'll be finished. But first, I think I'll go take a long, hot bubble bath---with a huge smile because tonight was just what I needed--lots of laughs with my cousins. You know, I really am truly blessed with wonderful family & friends--no matter what, life is good.
