I am extremely happy because Abby came into town last night and is staying until tomorrow. FUN! As I write this we are both sitting on the couch & watching the wonderfully wonderful movie "P.S. I Love You." I am so blessed with such wonderful friends. Since I cannot travel out of Des Moines right now, she drove all the way up here to see me---What A BEST FRIEND!

Last night we didn't do much except drive around, eat some ice cream, & talk--it was wonderful. Today we slept in until 11 (I know, I know, what bums) & then got up & treated ourselves to wonderful pedicures & wonderful is an understatement. Then we walked around the mall for a bit & came home. Now we are enjoying some R&R! There is nothing better in the world than being with a dear friend. Unfortunately she has to leave & drive home to St. Louis tomorrow morning & I will be SO sad, but am so grateful for her visit!!!!!!!!

I am still feeling the same & on the liquid/very soft diet. I return to Iowa City on Monday to see what the biopsy results showed & to hear of the plan they have created (let's just hope they have one). I'm ready to have a plan...I'm also very ready to be able to visit KC & A-town....it's been forever!

Back to the movie...I'm a hopeless romantic....
