~Oscar Wilde~
On Saturday, Amber, Krister, and I road tripped to the big town of Hanover, Kansas. One of our dear dear friends, Emily, was getting married. It was a beautiful ceremony, fully of the small town spirit that I love. Of course, she was a glowing and gorgeous bride. Justin in a lucky man for getting her. It was so wonderful to be sitting in the pew watching those two profess their love for one another. They are a wonderful couple and it makes me so happy to see them so happy and in love with one another. Weddings always make me happy and bring tears of joy to my eyes. Love is such a wonderful thing. Knowing you are going to be spending the rest of your life with someone and growing old with them is such a heartwarming concept to me. I wish them all the best of luck and know that they have many happy years awaiting them! The night was full of dancing, laughter, good conversation, and fun. Many of our BC friends were there and it was like a mini-reunion and that made my heart SO happy. I miss the ability of running down the hall or right down the street and hanging out with everyone, so it was good.
Today, I spent most of the day packing as I move next Saturday and doing odds and ends that have been driving me nuts for awhile. Tonight I am working on so Biochem and tomorrow, since I have the day off, I will be studying hard core for my first graduate exam this week. I am scared you know what less for this test--but I always feel better after the first test is over and I know better of what to expect the next time--so that'll be good. Please wish me luck---say a few Hail Marys on your knees for me (SMILE).
This weekend was a good one and I am grateful for the awesome friends, family, and journeys I have. I am also so grateful that Emily and Justin found one another---right now, they are enjoying the sunshine and warmth of Mexico on their honeymoon--keep them in your prayers for safe travels!
Night!
