HELLO EVERYONE!
Sorry, I have been horrible about blogging lately---there is so much to say, but it seems time gets away from me. I'm also having to use my grandparents' computer right now, so my pictures are not available...but they will be soon.
I graduated last Saturday from Benedictine. It was such a bittersweet moment---the highlight...my Uncle John gave me my diploma and S. Anne Shepard came up and stood beside me...it was a highlight of my life, there is no doubt. A few tears were shed, but it was mainly laughs and fun on that day--afterall I was surrounded by my family and my best friends, what was there to be sad about? Saturday I spent time with my family in KC and drove back up to Atchison for one last shebang at the guys' house. It was so much fun and we stayed up almost until sunrise---how I miss them already. Sunday was the hard day. I went to prayers and supper with S. Thomasita at the Mount and headed to Des Moines from there. That is when the tears came---they came hard. It'll certainly take some adjustment to being home for the summer, as it always does, the hardest part will be in August when I don't go back. I miss everyone in Atchison like crazy---but my phone has been getting a lot of use! (Smile) I will post more details and pictures when I can. I hope everyone is doing well.
